Ship owning as a core business of the PCL Group started with the acquisition of the first ship in 1977. Their move to greater diversification in this area of business during the last decade has led them to own a varied fleet of vessel types ranging from bulk carriers, product tankers to cellular container and multi-purpose break bulk vessels.
Freight Trading and Ship Operations
As the ship chartering and freight trading arm of the PCL Group, they are a leading dry bulk operator in all sectors from handysize up to capesize bulk trades worldwide. PCL (Shipping) Pte Ltd also operates a liner/break bulk service from Australia and New Zealand to the Middle East.
